Careers Speedchat at Poltair School

Three members of our staff—Mark, Debbie and Lucy—recently took part in a Speedchat for Careers Day with Year 9 students at Poltair School. The event gave pupils the opportunity to learn about a range of real‑life jobs and career paths. Our team spoke not only about their current roles with the Town Council, but also shared insights from their previous careers in education, banking and the police, helping students understand the diverse routes that can lead to working in local government.
